For the past several years this church and the Disciples of Christ Christian church in Elkhart have alternated hosting a community Christmas event. It is made up of local people throughout the North Polk area performing various pieces of music, readings, etc. related to Christmas. We have developed relationships with several area pastors who also extend this invitation to their congregations. This is typically the first Sunday in December and will be announced at both churches well ahead of the event. After the activities of the program refreshments will be available and people are encouraged to visit and fellowship.
