About

About us

A family church, charismatic teaching center, reaching out to the world.  Located 15 minutes north of Des Moines, Iowa the next exit north of Ankeny, two miles east of I35. We are located at 186 S Grant Ave. Elkhart, Iowa 50073 (two story brick building on the south side of the road). Sunday morning service-begins at 10 AM usually with a few minutes for people to visit and catch up with what others are doing.

Wednesday night service begins at 7 PM and finishes by 8 or shortly after. It is an informal gathering with a time of individual sharing if people wish to do so. This is a Bible study but individual comments and questions often bring other elements into the study.

Concerning weather related cancellations, we will follow the actions of North Polk schools located in Alleman, Iowa. We are in this school district. If they cancel school, let out early, or cancel evening activities due to weather TKD classes at Faith Christian Fellowship will also be cancelled.

For the past several years this church and the Disciple of Christ Christian church in Elkhart have alternated hosting a community Christmas event. It is made up of local people performing various pieces of music, etc. related to Christmas with refreshments following. We take turns hosting this event.

We offer Tae kwon do classes each Tuesday and Thursday night from 6:30-7:30 at the church. These are open to anyone. We host a branch school associated with Martial Arts America headquartered in Ankeny, Iowa. For more information about MAA visit their site at http://www.martialartsamerica.net/ or

Faith

Faith is the cornerstone of our church. It is part of every activity that we do, every meeting that we hold. We believe in our Lord, and that our actions are a reflection of his goodness.

Scripture

We look to the Lord for guidance in our lives. In Scripture, we find all that we need to guide us in the right path. Reading and understand Scripture helps us all live meaningful lives.

Community

Join us. We welcome each and every one of you to encounter the Lord's unconditional love with us. Inside each of us is a purpose and meaning to be fulfilled by God.
